Wall & Floor Tilers measure, cut and lay tiles on roofs, walls, floors and other surfaces. They work on bathrooms, kitchens, commercial spaces, and outdoor areas, combining technical skill with an eye for design.

A typical day may involve:

  • Measure and prepare surfaces for tiling
  • Install ceramic, stone, and mosaic tiles
  • Apply grout and sealants for finishing
  • Work on roofs, walls, and floors
  • Cut tiles to size using specialised tools
  • Waterproof wet areas before tiling
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Ensure surfaces are level and properly aligned
