Steel Frame Installer / Assembler

As a Steel Frame Installer or Assembler, you measure, assemble, and erect steel frames in residential or commercial properties. You work from fabricator plans and installation instructions to build wall frames, roof trusses, and flooring systems, either on-site or in a workshop.

Your work involves handling steel components, using hand and power tools, and making sure frames are level, secure, and correctly aligned. Light gauge steel is used for its strength and lightweight properties, allowing for faster and more efficient construction.
