Concreters set up formwork, pour and finish concrete slabs, foundations, driveways, and decorative features. They operate pumps and finishing equipment to achieve high-quality results.

A typical day may involve:

  • Pour and finish concrete slabs and foundations
  • Set up formwork and reinforcement
  • Operate concrete pumps and finishing equipment
  • Apply decorative and colored concrete finishes
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Prepare sites and set levels
  • Cure and protect finished concrete
  • Work with reinforcing steel and mesh

  • Pre-qualification Cert II Construction
  • Cert III Concreting
