Cabinet Maker / Joiner

As a Cabinet Maker, you typically work on projects such as kitchen fit-outs, bathroom vanities, and other fitted furniture. Your work may involve both the manufacture and installation of custom cabinetry as well as repair existing pieces.

You’ll estimate and cost jobs, produce technical drawings, and use a wide range of tools, machines, and techniques. Work may take place in a workshop or on-site at residential and commercial buildings.

As a Joiner, you cut, shape and fit timber parts in workshops to form structures and fittings, ready for installation.
