Help your child find the right career path. Learning a trade while earning is a great way forward.
About Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are typically completed over four years and can be commenced during secondary education (school-based apprenticeships) or after secondary education has been completed.
The Born to Build program is designed to increase awareness of the career pathways available in the building and construction industry. The building and construction industry undertakes about $16 billion of work every year, contributing more than $1 for every $7 of economic activity within the State.
The building and construction industry is currently facing a shortage of trade-qualified workers to meet demand. Apprentices are vital to building a skilled supply of workers for industry so the next generation of builders can meet demand in the decades to come.
