Construction Estimator

As a Construction Estimator, you prepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans for construction projects up to the tender settlement stage. This includes analysing drawings and specifications, calculating material and labour costs, and obtaining prices from suppliers and Subcontractors.

Construction Estimators work closely with Project Managers, Contract Administrators, and Site Supervisors to ensure tenders are accurate, competitive, and commercially viable. The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of construction methods and sequencing. Estimators play a key role in securing work for construction businesses and developing realistic project budgets.
