Accounts Clerk

As an Accounts Clerk in the building and construction industry, you support the financial operations of a construction business. You are responsible for processing invoices, recording expenditure, and ensuring payments to suppliers and Subcontractors are accurate and on time.

An Accounts Clerk works closely with Site Supervisors, Contract Administrators, and Office Managers to track project costs, manage purchase orders, and assist with progress claims. The role requires strong attention to detail, organisation skills, and an understanding of how construction projects are costed and delivered.

A typical day may involve:

  • Determining construction methods, materials and quality standards
