Cassie’s career has spanned a range of industries and roles, each providing opportunities to pursue her passions, make meaningful contributions and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. From an early interest in painting and hands-on creativity, she completed a Certificate II in Sign Writing after high school and began working at Designcraft, Australia’s largest sign writing company.

As the industry evolved towards vinyl signage, she developed new technical skills and discovered a passion for graphic design — leading to five years of part-time study while working full time. She later stepped in to manage Caramel Computing during her sister’s maternity leave, expanding into office management, customer service, finance and accounting over six years.

Eight years in community engagement with the NBN followed, helping connect communities across South Australia and the Northern Territory to a major national infrastructure project – extensive travel, deeply rewarding work, and a love for working closely with diverse communities.

Today, Cassie is focused on supporting people to build fulfilling careers in the trades. With increasing demand for skilled workers, she’s passionate about showing new entrants the long-term opportunities available – from hands-on roles to leadership, business ownership and training the next generation.
